Alabama Museum of Natural History’s new Education Outreach Coordinator: Joyia Davis

The Alabama Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce that Joyia Davis will joining us as the new Education Outreach Coordinator! Joyia holds a B.A in Anthropology from UA, and a M.A.T. in Museum Education from George Washington University. She will be coming to us from the Alabama Department of Archives and History where she has worked for the past three years, first as an Education Program Specialist, and most recently as an Education Curator. Prior to that, Joyia was a Public Programs Specialist at Dumbarton House, a historic house museum, and has done internships at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
