June
4: Junior Naturalist, 10:30-12:00, $15 per child and adult pair, Grades K-5.
6-10: Fossil Camp 8:00-4:30, $175 member, $200 non-member, Grades 3-5.
21-25: Bug Camp, 8:00-4:30, $175 member, $200 non-member, Grades 5-8.
July
1: Art-in-Nature Camp (Single Day), 10:00-4:30, $40 member, $50 non-member, Grades 3-5.
12, 16, 19: Fossil Hunting Day Trip, 8-4:30, $35 includes transportation.
23: Cane Creek Canyon Hike, 8-4:30, $35 includes transportation.
August

Registration is required for all the museum’s summer programs.
Our Fossil Hunting Trips and Cane Creek Canyon Hikes are open to all ages, but all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration of these trips and hikes begins at 10 AM on Friday, April 1, 2022. To register, please call 205-348-7550 during regular business hours.
Given University of Alabama policy, registrations for our Junior Naturalist, Art-in-Nature, Fossil, and Bug Camps must be done online through the Alabama Youth Programs website and will include an additional UA administrative fee that does not go to the museum
Refund Policy
In the event of a trip cancellation on the part of the museum, either (1) a transfer of previously paid registration to an alternate trip day or (2) a full refund will be offered.
In the event of trip cancellation on the part of the registrant, participants will be either (1) refunded 50% of their registration fee up to three business days prior to the planned trip or (2) a transfer of previously paid registration to an alternate trip day. No refunds will be offered less than three business days before the reserved trip.
