Can the museum identify or confirm what object or specimen I have?

Possibly, if we have expertise within UA Museums’ staff. Otherwise, we will try to refer you to UA faculty or staff that may have expertise in a particular area.

Does the museum accept donations of objects and specimens?

Yes, UA Museums does accept donations on a case by case basis when a donation can contribute to the depth or breadth of our research collections.  If you have objects or specimens you would like to donate to the museum please contact Dr. John Abbott, Chief Curator & Director, UA Museums’ Department of Museum Research & Collections

Can the museum give me an appraisal of the commercial value of an object or specimen?

No, the museum does not provide appraisal services, even when the object or specimen is being donated to UA Museums.
