On Saturday, April 8, 2023, the Alabama Museum of Natural History and the Alabama Paleontological Society will be hosting a free fossil Track Meet from 11 am until 3:30 pm. With the impending threat of severe weather, including the high risk of tornadoes and dangerous weather in West and Central Alabama, normal UA operations will be suspended at 12:30 p.m. today. This means that the Alabama Museum of Natural History, the Gorgas House Museum, the Paul W. Bryant Museum, the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum, and Moundville Archaeological Park will all be closed. Normal Operations resume on February 17, 2023.
