University of Alabama undergraduate student, Maddy Dissinger,  is majoring in Biology and she is also enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program.

Through this program, Maddy did an internship in the UA Museums paleontology collection during the Spring 2023 semester under the supervision of Curator of Paleontology, Dr. Adiel Klompmaker. Maddy gaining various curation skills, primarily working on a new collection of fossil crinoids, a new collection of ancient trackways of reptiles and amphibians, and some new mosasaur jaws from our field station, Harrell Station Paleontological Site.
